About Stefan Richter

I have an extensive tripartite professional background in (1) Wealth Management, (2) M&A / Corporate Finance and (3) Strategy Consulting.

In the area of wealth management I constructed and managed multi asset class portfolios for

(U)HNWIs, trusts & foundations, institutional investors as well as corporate entities when working for large financial institutions, family offices and independent asset managers. In particular, I was responsible for constructing and managing multi-billion euro portfolios spanning traditional asset classes, such as equities, fixed income, commodities, hedge funds, private equity / venture capital and real estate. Sound risk management practices using hedging and protection strategies complete my skills in wealth management.

Before I started my career in wealth management, I was an M&A advisor working on cross-border, medium-sized M&A transactions across a variety of industries (such as manufacturing, technology, business services) with a deal size ranging typically between EUR 5 – 100 million.

Finally, I possess extensive and broad-based experiences in strategy consulting. As a strategy consultant, I prepared market & competitive analyses and developed new strategies, substantiated by a comprehensive shareholder value model for multinational corporations as well as small & medium-sized companies in industries as diverse as technology, manufacturing, healthcare and consumer products.

My professional experiences are complemented by my academic credentials consisting of a MBA and a BS degree. Finally, I also hold the CIIA certification.

As a wealth manager at Private Client Consultancy (Switzerland) I am now in a position to draw from the variety, versatility and complexity of my prior professional experiences to develop holistic, tailor-made financial plans and investment strategies that specifically address each client’s individual circumstances and risk / return profile.

Located in Zurich, I enjoy walking along the lake and hiking in the nearby mountains.
