Adi Smajlovic

With over 20 years of leadership experience in finance, consumer banking, and business banking, I have had the privilege of leading sales operations across up to 40 locations and 200 team members. Throughout my career, I have focused on building high-performing teams and creating a culture centered on exceptional client experiences. I believe that true leadership is about more than numbers—it’s about developing people, empowering them to succeed, and making a lasting impact on both clients and colleagues every single day.

Beyond my professional career, I am passionate about community involvement and youth development. I have served as a board member for two youth football clubs, where I worked to create opportunities for players and families—both on and off the field. Football has always been a personal passion, and this role allowed me to combine that passion with giving back to the community.
Family is at the centre of my life. I have been married to my wife for 22 years, and together we are raising two amazing boys. We also share our home with Bella, our energetic 3-year-old Scottish Sheltie. As a family, we love traveling and exploring new places, creating experiences and memories that enrich our lives.

In my free time, I enjoy playing football, golf, and skiing. I’m always energized by staying active, whether on the field, the course, or the slopes.

One of my favourite quotes, which has guided both my personal and professional journey, is by Henry Ford: “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t—you’re right.” It reflects my belief in the power of mindset, resilience, and determination in achieving success.
