Spread Hope & Joy This Christmas for Children Cared for by ADIMI
As the Christmas season approaches, we’re inviting you to spread Hope and take Action to support children who are living with disabilities and who face challenging circumstances.
Why This Matters?
ADIMI is a non-profit association founded in 1999 by a group of parents determined to create a supportive community for their children with intellectual disabilities.
Based in Mijas, their mission is to improve the quality of life for children with intellectual disabilities and their families by advocating for their rights and providing vital services and programs.
We are also grateful for the partnership of Rotary Club Mijas International. If you are not familiar with them, Rotary International is a global humanitarian organisation with over 1.4 million members worldwide, all committed to improving lives and fostering goodwill.
Locally, they run many impactful projects such as providing essential equipment for children, organising beach clean-ups, and supporting charitable causes across the Costa del Sol region.
How You Can Make a Difference
Donate Toys
We are collecting new, preferably wrapped toys for children of all ages, including toys specifically designed for children with disabilities.
Donate Money
If you are unable to donate a toy at our office in Spain we also have launched a gofundme page where you can contribute financially to the cause
Spread the Word
Share this toy drive with your friends, family, and colleagues to help us gather even more gifts for these deserving children.
Where And When?
You can drop off toys at our office, where a beautifully decorated Christmas tree will serve as the centrepiece for our gift collection area.
We will be accepting donations up until December 18th, ensuring there is plenty of time to get the toys into the hands of the children before Christmas morning.
